Miss S Galliers
I have been teaching for more years than I care to remember and I have enjoyed every one of them. Since being at Little Parndon I have had the pleasure of teaching many family groups of brothers, sisters and cousins and I have even taught some of the Mums and Dads of the children in school now, albeit in other schools.
I have experience of teaching the entire primary age range, having taught from EYFS to year 6, but my passion is for teaching in the EYFS.
During my career my roles have included Key Stage Leader for KS1 and EYFS, curriculum leader of English and DT and safeguarding officer.
Whilst at Little Parndon I have continuously worked to develop the practice of Early Years in our own school and more recently across the Trust. In recent years I have also undertaken moderations for Essex County. I am a first aider, fire warden and minibus driver (which I consider to be one of my greatest accomplishments).
I believe that all children should look forward to every day they spend in school, so it is important to work hard to create an environment in which they will feel safe, nurtured, stimulated and excited, while at the same time being challenged and stretched to achieve their full potential.
Outside of school I enjoy walking, gardening, travelling and ‘fairly tame’ wild swimming (although I only like doing that in the summer!) but most of all I enjoy spending time relaxing and laughing with my friends and family.
